Blossoming – the time is now

I will blossom when I am ready, a new me, a better me.

In recent weeks, I have had many people show concern for my choice to isolate from society. All of the concern is a bit much for me. It has lead me to explain my process as if I were a plant. Maybe because I am connected to nature and feel so at home there, this makes sense to me. It is my way of life.

The circle of life sometimes happens many times in one lifetime. Just as the tree will leaf out each year and the flower to bloom again, we can Surrender ourselves to be born again into a new and more elevated mindset. Our potential is endless.

There are many teachings that talk about planting seeds for the future. We all do this each New Year’s and call them resolutions, or each month we plant seeds of desire on the New Moon for something we wish to manifest. Like the seed, I literally need time and space. It is in these moments that growth is inevitable.

Growth for me is buried in the depths of isolation and darkness. I need this isolation, this alone time to assist me in my own process. Here I can sit with myself and accept what is, and in turn begin to grow the desire for more. That desire can push us all, if we let it, to begin the transformation to move closer to our best selves.

Once the roots of love have grown deep and firm,

the flowers will keep on blooming!

The plant, as it takes root embodies the next phase of its life, so too can we elevate to our next level. It may begin before we are free of our baggage, but the epiphany that occurs will definitely push us to move forward releasing parts of us that do not serve us in a healthy positive way. We can then have our own breakthrough. If we choose to, we can allow others to see us in a vulnerable situation allowing them to fully support our growth. It is no different from checking in on your plants daily to make sure they are being taken care of. Cultivating plants can be time-consuming, but with curiosity, patience and empathy will bestow great pleasures.

“It is not that people should worry, but instead give me the space and time to sit in my own dark place. I am not scared of the dark times in life. In this place I know that the Light is still there with me, even if I cannot see, I can still feel.”

– Email excerpt to a friend

With this growth mindset we are encouraged to look inside and begin to evaluate our lives. All our soul’s truest desires can, if we listen, be heard. Using our future potential as motivation, we can push through the soil, and in time bask in the sun for all to see.

It is the time to share with the whole world.

Thankfully, there are many chapters in each book we write for ourselves. Challenges that we try to avoid will always be the means to move forward. There are some things nobody can help you with. Yes, to support and encourage, but allowing you to find your way in the means that are right for you. Learning how we can deal with them in a healthier way will ultimately give us the smoothest journey through them.
